Born Feb. 14, 1944, in Pine Knot, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Ray and Geneva Smith Dawson.
She was a graduate of Pine Knot High School. She was employed as a foundry worker for Dalton Foundry, Warsaw. She enjoyed reading and painting ceramics.
She is survived by two children, Kimberly Finkey (husband Michael), Chambersburg, and Jason Allison, Etna Green, 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four brothers, Rick, Curtis and V.J. Dawson, all of Kentucky, and Eddie Dawson of Indiana.
A memorial service is being planned in Warsaw. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg.
