Songwriter Featured At Christmas Concert
PIERCETON — Songwriter and evangelist Bruce Frye will
present a Christmas concert at 6 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist
Church of Pierceton.
Frye performed on the club circuit for
years and opened shows for Sawyer
Brown, the Oak Ridge Boys, Charlie
Daniels and others. His life was changed
in 1998 when he received Christ into his
life. He now travels the world preaching,
writing and singing songs that honor God.
Frye will also preach and sing in the
10:30 a.m. Sunday service.
The church is at 208 W. Market St.,
Pierceton.

Food Drive Planned Saturday In Warsaw
Warsaw Family Worship Center will have its annual food
drive at 6 p.m. Saturday.
People are asked to bring nonperishable items, which will
go to local food banks to help with community Christmas
needs.
Several local groups will give a free concert that evening.
The worship center is at 1250 Husky Trail, next to
Martin’s Super Market.

Christmas Eve Service Planned In Pierceton
PIERCETON — Pierceton United Methodist Church is having
a Christmas Eve service at 6 p.m.
The candlelight service will include readings and familiar
carols. Come and celebrate the joy of the Christmas season.
The church is handicapped-accessible. Parking is in the
rear.
A Christmas service is planned for 9 a.m. Dec. 25. Come as
you are.

Community Meal Tuesday At Sacred Heart
A community meal will be offered in the gymnasium at
Sacred Heart Church from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
This month’s meal will feature sliced turkey breast,
cheesy potatoes, gravy, garden salad, green beans, fresh
fruits and desserts. Dinner is provided and served by the
Sacred Heart parishioners. There is no charge.

Claypool UMC Christmas Program Sunday
CLAYPOOL — Claypool United Methodist Church will celebrate
the birth of Jesus with a Christmas program featuring
a skit titled "Travelers."
The program will begin at 10:20 a.m. Sunday.
The church is at 302 E. Section St., Claypool.

All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast Is Saturday
PIERCETON — An all-you-can-eat breakfast is planned
from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Victory Rock Church.
The breakfast will include pancakes, eggs, sausage and
French toast. Freewill donations will be accepted.
