Virginia is grandmother to Beth Lucht Shepherd, Peter (spouse Kristi) Lucht, Jared (spouse Stacy) Engle and Jason (spouse Kathy) Engle. Her stepgrandchildren are Carrie (spouse Mike) Golden and Chris Helfrich. She has 12 great-grandchildren and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
