NORTH WEBSTER – Laurajene Plymale, 88, North Webster, passed away at 8:42 a.m. Dec. 1, 2016, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. 
She was born Sept. 13, 1928, in Muncie, to Harry J. and Marie Gray Haines.
She graduated in 1947 from Muncie Central High School in Muncie, and on July 4, 1947, in Muncie, she married Octavian Conwell “O. C.” Plymale, who preceded her in 2015. 
She retired in 1981 from Indiana Bell Telephone Co. in Muncie after 35 years of service as a business office supervisor. She was a North Webster summer resident since 1955, permanently moved to the area in 1981 from Muncie, and wintered in Port Charlotte, Fla., for many years. 
She was a member of Country Bible Church in North Webster and First Baptist Church in Port Charlotte. She was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star, past honored queen of Job’s Daughters International and Beauceant Mason’s, all in Muncie.
She is survived by a daughter – Jill (spouse Robert) Lee, Port Charlotte; two granddaughters, Chelsea (spouse Stephen) Van Wyk and Hannah Lee; and two sisters, Pamela (spouse John) Conrad and Nancy (Bill) Schmollinger, both of Leesburg, Fla.
She was preceded by her parents, husband and a brother, Dickie Haines.
A memorial service is planned in February at Owen Family Funeral Home, North Webster.
