The Lady Squires trailed 25-16 at halftime. After outscoring the Lady Vikings 12-10 in the third, Manchester was outpaced 15-8 over the final period.
“I like the intensity that we started the game with, and we sustained throughout. We had a lot of girls step up and play well for us tonight,” Manchester head coach jacob Everett said.
The junior varsity contest went to Huntington North 38-16. Gabby Brewer had seven points for Manchester.
The Lady Squires host Class 2A No. 1 Whitko Friday night in Three Rivers Conference play.
