WINAMAC – Triton’s wrestlers went 4-1 at the Winamac Super 8 Duals Saturday. The Trojans won 48-30 over Clinton Prairie, 108-19 over West Central, 53-21 over host Winamac, and 72-12 over Caston. Triton fell to Culver Academies 54-24.
Bryce Coppes was 5-0 and Connor Pitney and Malachi Green went 4-0 for Triton. Nate Riggins, Lee Mullet, James Snyder and Billy Smith went 4-1 on the day. Cameron Scarberry was 3-1. Bryce Swihart and Vincent Helton were 3-2. Marcus Brown, Ryan Snyder and Bryson Seitner won twice each, and Wyatt Stephan won once.
Triton will host Rochester and North Miami on Wednesday.

Triton Beats Knox
KNOX – Triton blew open a seven-point game by outscoring Knox by 14 in the fourth quarter, rolling to a 40-19 win in Hoosier North Athletic Conference girls basketball Saturday.
Hannah Wanemacher hit a trio of three-pointers on her way to a game-high 19 points for the Lady Trojans. Nichole Sechrist had seven points, with Courtney Jennings, Charlotte Morris and Kaitlin Bailey adding four points each.
Triton travels to Akron to take on Class 3A No. 7 Tippecanoe Valley Wednesday night.
