She was born March 27, 1926, in Custer, Mich., to Dewey and Della Flora Reene.
She was a hostess at Timbercrest Retirement Community, North Manchester. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church, North Manchester.
Survivors include a daughter, Charlene Lapeyrolerie, Baton Rouge, La.; eight grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded by a son, William D. McGruther, in 2016; two brothers, Leroy Reene and Earl Reene; and a sister, Bertha Raymond.
Calling will be one hour before the funeral at 11 a.m. Thursday at McKee Mortuary, 1401 Ind. 114W, North Manchester. Pastor Eddie Akins will officiate.
Burial will be in Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery, North Manchester.
