He was born Sept. 4, 1940, in Cromwell, to Dennis H. and Barsha N. Miller Brown. On July 14, 1961, at Broadway Christian Church, Kimmel, he married Diana Jo Baker, who survives in Cromwell.
He was a lifetime Noble County area resident and graduated in 1958 from Cromwell High School. He was a retired farmer and formerly employed as a supervisor at Superior Sample, Ligonier, for 15 years.
He was a member of the North Webster Church of God, Wawasee Camp of the Gideon’s, Syracuse, and was an avid baseball player.
Also surviving are one daughter, Jackie Brown, Kimmell; one son, Dana (and spouse Amy) Brown, Cromwell and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Owen Family Funeral Home, North Webster, with Pastor Jeff Boyer of the church officiating. Burial will follow at the Sparta Cemetery, Kimmell.
Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
