Wawasee Boys Soccer Team Falls 2-1 At West Noble

Warrior head coach Jordan sharp singled out Joe Lecount, Dillon Drake and Yankowski for standout performances.
“(Our) boys lacked the final touch,” he said. “We had a good effort. We’re starting to see the boys figure out how to move the ball better as a team.”
Now 1-3-1 on the season, Wawasee will host Culver Academies on Wednesday.
VB Falls To Bruins
GOSHEN – Madie Wilson had 20 digs, Tiffany Koble had 14 digs and Liz Hardy had 13 blocks in Wawasee’s 25-15, 23-25, 25-14, 25-14 loss at Bethany Christian Thursday evening.
The Lady Warrior junior varsity improved to 7-1 for the year, coming back from a set down to take a 15-25, 25-17, 15-13 win over the Lady Bruins. Hannah Gaerte had 15 digs, six aces and four kills for Wawasee. Janae Hapner had four kills and two blocks. Caitlin Wortinger had 10 digs and Faith Swihart added four kills in the winning cause.
The varsity will take a 1-4 mark into a match at Manchester High School on Tuesday.
