ELKHART ­– Warsaw’s Colton Lind won his match in 12 games at No. 1 singles, with Andrew Gauger and David Homme needing just 14 games to win at No. 2 and No. 3 singles, respectively, leading the Tigers to a 5-0 win at Elkhart Memorial Thursday.
The No. 2 doubles team of Hayden Steger and Spencer Britton won in 14 games as well. At No. 1 doubles, Justin Stout and Ryan Wettschurack won 6-4, 6-1.
The Tigers are back in action on Tuesday when they host Goshen.

Lady Tigers Win
The Warsaw girls soccer team got a pair of first-half goals from Abby Steffensmeier, with Breck Jackson adding a goal in the first half  in the Lady Tigers’ 5-0 win over visiting NorthWood in Northern Lakes Conference play Thursday night.
Brenna Buhrt and Delaney Taylor scored in the second half for the Lady Tigers, who improved to 4-3 overall and 2-0 in the NLC.
The Warsaw junior varsity fell 1-0 to the Lady Panthers.
Next up for Warsaw is a 7:15 p.m. Tuesday match with conference foe Goshen.

Tiger Soccer Falls
PLYMOUTH – The Warsaw boys soccer team gave up a late goal on a rain-soaked field, dropping a 2-1 decision at Plymouth Thursday night.
Senior Andrew Mevis, arriving after kickoff due to football practice, scored the game-tying goal on a corner kick from Joaquin Juarez late in the first half.
Jorge Rico and Ellan Mejia each scored for the Warsaw junior varsity in its 2-0 win.
Now 0-1 2 overall and 0-1 in the Northern Lakes Conference, Warsaw will host Penn on Saturday.
