PERU – Manchester junior Lydia Little posted a 44 for medalist honors, pacing the Lady Squires to a win over Whitko, Tippecanoe Valley and North Miami at Peru Municipal Golf Course Thursday.
The Lady Squires’ team score of 190 bested Whitko’s 245, Valley’s 246 and North Miami’s 331.
Kelsey Eichenauer was a shot back at 45 for Manchester. Karly Eichenauer had a 50, with Samantha Kissel and Leiah Brandenburg each shooting 51.
Holly Hathaway and Claire Reiff paced the Lady Wildcats, shooting 54 and 55 respectively. Bailey Wright came in at 63, Makayla Compton at 73, and Lily Ousley at 87.
Valley was led by Victoria Biddle’s 46. Blake McBrier shot a 55, Jordan Krotke a 72, Bethany Johnson a 73 and Jade VanMeter an 80.
Whitko and Manchester will travel to South Shore Golf Club in Syracuse for a match with host West Noble on Tuesday. Valley will take on Rochester and host Maconaquah on Tuesday.

Lady Squires Play To Scoreless Tie With Oak Hill
CONVERSE – Visiting Manchester and Oak Hill played to a scoreless tie in a girls soccer game Thursday night. Carsyn Howard, Ranissa Shambarger, Lauren Metzger, Bailey Mooney and Bailey Sewell all had shots for Manchester.
The Lady Squires will play Rochester in the opening round of the Manchester Invitational at 9 a.m. Saturday, with a second game against an opponent to be determined Saturday afternoon.

Valley Downs Comets
AKRON – Tippecanoe Valley’s Tom Solano and Miguel Dominguez scored first-half goals three minutes apart, leading the Vikings to a 4-1 win over visiting Caston Thursday night.
Seniors Ivan Santiago and Alvaro Guiterrez scored on penalty kicks in the second half for the Vikings.
The Viking junior varsity won its game 1-0 on a goal from Alex Santiago.
Valley will play a Three Rivers Conference road game at Manchester High School Tuesday.

Valley VB Falls In 4 Sets
WABASH – After taking the first set, Tippecanoe Valley’s volleyball team dropped the next three games in a 17-25, 26-24, 25-18, 25-23 loss at Wabash in Three Rivers Conference play Thursday.
Abby Betten had 22 digs and 14 kills for the Lady Vikings. Emily Peterson and Taneisha Brown had 19 assists each, and Shayleigh Shriver had four aces.
Tippecanoe Valley will play in the Manchester Invitational on Saturday.

Triton VB Swept
BOURBON – Triton’s volleyball team, playing its third match this week, fell 25-10, 25-23, 25-19 to visiting Pioneer in Hoosier North Athletic Conference play Thursday.
Hannah Wanemacher had 14 assists, Nicole Sechrist had 10 kills and Quinn Downing recorded 12 digs for the Lady Trojans.
Next up for Triton is a trip to Knox for a HNAC match on Tuesday.

Cougars Fall At BCS
GOSHEN – Bethany Christian scored early goals in a 3-0 win over visiting Lakeland Christian Academy Thursday.
Lakeland Christian (2-2, 0-2 NISC) returns to action today, hosting Victory Christian at 6 p.m.

Wildcat Soccer Falls
SOUTH WHITLEY – Whitko senior goalkeeper Devin Goggin recorded nine saves in the Wildcats 4-0 loss to visiting Rochester in Three Rivers Conference boys soccer action Thursday.
Whitko will travel to Bunker Hill to take on TRC opponent Maconaquah at 10 a.m. Saturday.
