Zoe White shot a 49, Jadison Rostochak a 55 and Lesley Tayagua a 58 for the Lady Warriors. Playing at the junior varsity level, Valerie Haessig shot 72.
Wawasee (6-3) will play in the Rochester Invitational at Mill Creek/Round Barn Golf Club on Saturday.

VB Falls At Fairfield
GOSHEN – Madie Wilson had 26 digs for visiting Wawasee, and Seaquinn Bright had 10 digs and four kills for the Lady Warriors in their 25-14, 25-18, 19-25, 25-13 loss at Fairfield Thursday evening.
Liz Hardy had fice kills and four blocks for the visitors, and Olivia Clouse added four kills for Wawasee, which fell to 0-2 on the season.
“This was another tough match to fall short in,” Wawasee head coach Kayla Riportella said. “My team played Fairfield’s roster tough, and never settled on losing. We fought tooth and nail on that court tonight, and if we continue to bring that attitude, we’ll come out on top soon.”
The Lady Warrior junior varsity lost its match in two sets by identical 25-18 scores.
Wawasee will travel to the Elwood Invitational on Saturday, then go to LaGrange to take on Lakeland on Monday.
Warriors Tie SB Riley
SYRACUSE – Zeb Glon and Ryan Edington scored a goal each for Wawasee as the Warriors boys soccer team played to a 2-2 draw with South Bend Riley Thursday night.
Wawasee (0-1-1) will open Northern Lakes Conference play at 11:45 a.m. Saturday when it hosts Concord.
Warriors Blanked In NLC Opener
SYRACUSE – After winning its first two non-conference matches of the season, the Wawasee tennis team was beaten 5-0 by visiting Plymouth in the Warriors’ Northern Lakes Conference opener Thursday.
The junior varsity had a similar fate, losing 8-0 to the Pilgrims.
Wawasee will host Central Noble Tuesday afternoon.
