Jerry Lee Flatter Sr., 70, Leesburg, passed away at 7:19 p.m. August 16, 2016, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born Dec. 2, 1945, in Portland, Jay County, to Ira Ermel and Donna Lee Riddlebarger Flatter. He was married to Sandra K. “Kay” Skinner Flatter, who preceded him in death Sept. 30, 2002.
He spent the majority of his lifetime in Hartford City and Muncie before retiring to Warsaw.
Surviving are two sons, Jerry Flatter Jr. (and companion Marcus Outlaw) South Bend, and David Flatter, Leesburg; a sister, Susan Hodge, Muncie; and a half brother, Mike Newton, Ridgeville.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
