The couple was married Aug. 18, 1956, in Sacred Heart Church,?Warsaw, by the Rev. Lawrence T. Reddington.
LaMar retired from Warsaw Community Schools in 2001.
Myra worked various jobs and retired with him.
The couple has children: Cathy and Craig Smith, Warsaw, Mike Rogers, Columbia City, Steve Rogers, who is deceased, Chris and Lisa Rogers, Cape Coral, Fla., Linda and Steve Strong, Seattle, Wash., Susan and Gary Simpson, Warsaw, and Laura and Jeff Parker, Lagro; 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
An open house will be Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 26 W. Bell Drive, Warsaw. Please join us. The couple requests no gifts.
