The couple was married Aug. 12, 1956, in Lexington, Va., by the Rev. David Lauderdale.
She retired from Ball Glass and he retired from Quality Glass, Warsaw.
They have two children, William Porter, Warsaw, and Joe and Sue Porter, Lansing, Ill.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
They will celebrate at a local eatery with family.
