 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
• 6:39 p.m. Friday – Stewart Matthew Hummel, 37, of 1125 S. Jackson St., Nappanee, arrested for neglect of a dependent and resisting law enforcement. Bond: $5,250.
• 9:17 p.m. Friday – Nathan Lee Gilliam, 43, of 3274 W. Shutt Ave, Silver Lake, arrested for intimidation. Bond: $5,250.
• 10:57 p.m. Friday – Alec David Burchard, 22, of 59 EMS C19 Lane, Leesburg, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $700.
• 11 p.m. Friday – Walter David Hawthorne II, 41, of 2981 W. CR 200S, Warsaw, arrested for theft and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $3,700.
• 11:34 p.m. Friday – Craig Alan Kizer, 58, Palmetto, Fla., arrested on two counts of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $15,000.
• 9:10 a.m. Saturday – Rhashon Kamal Wells, 27, of 533 E. Center St., Warsaw, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $5,000.
• 12:12 p.m. Saturday – Ann M. Baldridge, 64, of 600 N. Colfax St., Lot 210, Warsaw, arrested for theft. Bond: $600.
• 1:41 p.m. Saturday – Michael Shawn Sharp, 39, Peru, arrested for failure to appear. No bond set.
• 1:47 p.m. Saturday – Jodi Lynn Oaks, 38, Peru, arrested for failure to appear and on a warrant for another agency. No bond set.
• 8:51 p.m. Saturday – Dustin Scott Jansma, 25, of 5440 N. CR 450E, Leesburg, arrested on two counts of driving while suspended. Bond: $900.
• 1 a.m. Sunday – Daniel M. Moyer, 18, of 8211 S. Ind. 13, Pierceton, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, refusal to submit to chemical testing and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Bond:$700.
• 1:10 a.m. Sunday – Aaron Thomas Richard, 29, of 615 Oldfather St., Warsaw, arrested for failure to appear. No bond.
• 2:01 a.m. Sunday – Gregory Walter Frasier, 50, of 101 W. Effie May St., North Webster, arrested for battery. Bond: $600.
• 3:24 a.m. Saturday – James Travis Martin, 45, of 53 EMS B40 Lane,  Leesburg, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and refusal to submit to chemical testing. Bond: $700.
• 6:02 a.m. Saturday – Kasmatie Robertson, 30, of 517 Crestline Drive, Warsaw, arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and on two counts of failure to stop after an accident. Bond: $700.
• 12:36 a.m. Saturday – Chanelle Nicole Stults, 27, Elkhart, arrested for public intoxication. Bond: $400.

• 10:42 a.m. Saturday – Intersection of Provident Drive and Arthur Street, Warsaw. Rear-end collision. Drivers: Ronald T. Shepler, 47, Logan Street,  Warsaw. Donna S. Hassell, 36, East Clark Street, Warsaw. Injuries: Hassell complained of pain to the left hand, hip, left shoulder and neck and was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Damages: $25,000 to $50,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 10:58 p.m. Saturday – Intersection of South Indiana 13 and CR 1000S, Sidney. Car hit deer. Driver: Bradley M. Cox, 44, East Magill Street, Syracuse. Damages: $5,000 to $10,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.
• 3:05 a.m. Sunday – Intersection of  North CR 300E and East Defreese Road, Warsaw. Car hit deer. Driver: Amanda Reese, 36, North Elm Grove Drive, Syracuse. Damages: $5,000 to $10,000. KCSD.

Incidents
• 5:18 a.m. Saturday – An orange pylon at the Roy Street entrance of the Greenway Trail was reportedly broken off in the 100 block of Roy Street, Winona Lake. Winona Lake Police Department investigated.
• 11:28 a.m. Saturday – An employee of Owen’s Supermarket reported a female shoplifter in the 300 block of West Market Street, Warsaw. WPD.
• 11:43 a.m. Sunday – A subject reported being bitten by a bat in the 700 block of East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. WPD.
• 12:06 p.m. Sunday – A subject reported three of their vehicles were spray painted in the 800 block of North?Lake Street, Warsaw. WPD.
• 3:09 p.m. Sunday – A subject reported missing items from their residence in the 1200 block of East Center Street, Warsaw. WPD.
• 8:52 p.m. Saturday – An individual reported being bitten by a cat in the 1000 block of East Center Street, Warsaw. WPD.
