Free Comedy Night Friday At Tourmaline In Warsaw

The event will feature improv group performances and individual stand-up artists, as well as local band Isaac and the Darling. Main on Main Improv Troupe, which performs regularly in North Webster, will also be featured at the event, according to a press release from organizers.
Event organizer Eric Totheroh said, “We want to create an intimate sort of show that people feel invested in, and want to come back to again and again. Hopefully, this fosters a sense of freedom and experimentation for the artists and performers in the area they don’t currently have.”
This event is an initiative to provide low-cost comedy entertainment to residents in the Warsaw area, as well as an opportunity for local comedy artists to practice and share material, the press release states.
Another event organizer, Madisson Heinl, said, “The Warsaw area is uniquely receptive to the arts. A comedy night where audiences can see local talent and artists can have a safe place to practice their craft is important in this community.”
The comedy night is bring your own beer, and other concessions will be available. Admission is free and seating is first come, first served.
