Shock's Golden Goal Propels MU to 1-0 Overtime Victory over Huntington
First-year Lainey Shock scored the golden goal in the 92nd minute to propel the Manchester University women's soccer team to a thrilling 1-0 overtime victory visiting Huntington University on Tuesday evening. The Spartans were able to keep the Foresters off of the scoreboard during regulation to force extra time.
Grace gives NAIA No. 1 Vikings a scare
Grace College’s men’s soccer team came up just short of knocking off the No. 1 ranked and defending NAIA national champion Missouri Valley College (MVC) on Monday. The Lancers led MVC at halftime, but two second half markers for the Vikings halted the upset bid as Grace lost 2-1.
