Actor, writer, producer, director, comedian and composer Mel Brooks, 91, has adapted only two of his movies into Broadway musicals: the 1968 film “The Producers” in 2001 and 1974’s “Young Frankenstein” in 2007.

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Arts Commission announced this week that 48 Hoosier artists throughout the state will receive career development assistance through the agency’s Individual Artist Program grants for Fiscal Year 2018. This includes four artists from Region 2.
