Purdue Extension To Hold Education Program On Identity Theft

NORTH WEBSTER – Purdue Extension Kosciusko County Health & Human Science Educator Shannon Shepherd will present the free educational program “Identity Theft; What’s In Your Bag?” at the North Webster Community Public Library, 110 E. North St., North Webster, on May 22 at 10:30 a.m.
Identity theft can happen to anyone, but there are some precautions you can take to reduce your risk. This interactive program will make you aware of how much personal information you carry with you every day, provide ways to help prevent or decrease your risk of having your identity stolen, and teach you the steps to take if your identity has been stolen.
If you would like to join us for the program, pre-register by March 18 by calling the extension office at 574-372-2340 or emailing [email protected]. This program and all programs of the Purdue University Extension Service are open to everyone.
