Warsaw Parks Celebrates Earth Day

The Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department will celebrate Earth Day from 1 to 2 p.m. April 10 at the Pete Thorn gym, 800 N. Park Ave., Warsaw.
The celebration is for ages 6 and older, and cost is $5 per participant. Limited to 20 spots.
This program is all about teaching kids the importance of protecting the planet and inspiring them to take action. Kids will have the chance to engage in hands-on activities at various stations, including crafting with recycled materials, planting seeds and exploring nature.
Registration is required and will be available through April 4 or until full.
