Purdue Extension To Hold Vitamin Wisdom For Vital Aging Educational Program

Purdue Extension LaPorte County health and human science educator Chrissie Lai will present the educational program “Vitamin Wisdom for Vital Aging” on March 26 at noon at the Home & Family Arts Building, at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds, 1400 E. Smith St., Warsaw.
This program offers an exploration into the world of vitamins and their impact on the well-being of older adults during their golden years. As the program delves into the changing nutritional needs of seniors, they'll uncover the potential of essential vitamins, emphasizing practical tips for daily incorporation. From adapting nutrition to aging and recognizing common deficiencies, to illuminating the benefits of specific vitamins, this program is designed to empower you with knowledge for a vibrant and fulfilling life. Five years ago, at this particular time the Northern Indiana area already had its schoolkids at home e-learning because the schools were shutdown after a virulent and deadly COVID-19 outbreak. Next weekend approaches the fifth anniversary of the end of Spring Break where Warsaw Community Schools, along with schools nationwide, determined all students should shelter in place for the remainder of the school year.
