Indiana Tourism Association’s annual tourism conference was March 3-5 in Fort Wayne.
Over three days, 300 tourism leaders from around the Hoosier State attended the convention for networking and educational sessions.
The Indiana Tourism Awards were presented on Tuesday. The awards honor tourism businesses who are creative, innovative and maximize dollars invested – and the Kosciusko County Convention & Visitors Bureau (KCCVB) was presented with Best Visitor Guide (with a marketing budget under $300,000) for its 2024-25 visitor guide.
The visitor guide is an annual piece produced by KCCVB with 50,000 copies printed and distributed both inside and outside the county – and includes information on recreation opportunities, dining options, shopping locations, lodging, arts & culture and community resources within Kosciusko County, according to a news release from KCCVB.
The award-winning visitor guide was also available to view on the KCCVB website with additional video content, and throughout last year it had a total of 4,937 views online with 85,582 individual page views – an increase of 7.7% in page views, compared to the previous year.
“Our goal through our visitor guide is to show that the place to live, work, learn and play is Clearly Kosciusko. I’m infinitely thankful for our wonderful board of directors and team – and for all our generous and dedicated supporters. I’m beyond proud and immensely honored for this award,” said Cori Humes, executive director of KCCVB
The 2025-26 visitor guide is available for pick-up at the Visitor Center in Warsaw or to view online at https://visitkosciuskocounty.org/digital-guides/.
Order print copies by filling out the form on the KCCVB website, visitkosciuskocounty.org/request-visitor-guide/, emailing [email protected] or by calling 574-269-6090.
