The following people were arrested and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
• 8:38 p.m. Saturday - Amanda Nicole Howard, 33, of 3699 N. CR 174E, #111, Warsaw, arrested for disorderly conduct. Bond: $500.
• 2:58 a.m. Sunday - Miguel Ivan Munoz Azpeitia, 23, Westminster, Calif., arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of 0.15 or more and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $15,000.
• 6:18 p.m. Sunday - Devin Richard Gast, 36, Culver, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated causing bodily injury and resisting a law enforcement officer causing injury. Bond; $16,000.
• 6:38 p.m. Sunday - Richard Theodore Rhodes, 41, Avilla, Ill., arrested for misdemeanor failure to appear. No bond set.
• 8:44 p.m. Sunday - Daniel Ramirez, 41, of 340 E. Levi Lee Road, #191, Warsaw, arrested for felony probation violation. No bond set.
• 11:23 p.m. Sunday - Samantha A. Rohrbaugh, 46, of 312 W. Porter St., Warsaw, arrested for domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16. Bond: $5,250.
• 12:52 a.m. Monday - Dale Eugene Shepherd Jr., 40, of 1366 S. Ferguson Road, Warsaw, arrested for possession of methamphetamine. No bond set.
• 7 a.m. Monday - Jose De Jesus Mendoza, 18, of 1692 E. CR 200N, #32, Warsaw, arrested for operating a motor vehicle without ever obtaining a license. Bond: $500.

• 7:58 a.m. Friday - South Ind. 13, 800 feet south of East CR 1250S, North Manchester. SUV hit deer. Driver: Amanda Whisman, 43, North CR 700E, Leesburg. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.

Incidents
• 1:54 a.m. Sunday - Reckless driving was reported in the 2200 block of Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
• 1:54 a.m. Sunday - A traffic stop was initiated for a person in possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish in the 2200 block of Lake City Highway, Warsaw. WPD.

Five years ago, at this particular time the Northern Indiana area already had its schoolkids at home e-learning because the schools were shutdown after a virulent and deadly COVID-19 outbreak. Next weekend approaches the fifth anniversary of the end of Spring Break where Warsaw Community Schools, along with schools nationwide, determined all students should shelter in place for the remainder of the school year.
