Johnny Ray Wadkins, 71, of rural Rochester, died at 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26, 2025, at Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital of Warsaw.
He was born April 7, 1953, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Nero and Minerva Robinson Wadkins. He was married April 19, 1975, in Akron, to Janet Lee Holbrook, who survives.
The funeral service will take place at 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30 at King Memorial Home, Mentone, with Pastor Jerry Wadkins officiating. His interment will take place following the service in Mentone Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30 at King Memorial Home, Mentone.
Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Sportsmans & Farmers Conservation Club of Silver Lake.
