NOTICE OF HEARINGS
Pursuant to Indiana Code § 20-26-7-37 and Indiana Code § 6-1.1-20-3.5, notice is hereby given that the Board of School Trustees of the Wawasee Community School Corporation will meet at 5:30 p.m. on February 4, 2025 and at 5:30 p.m. on February 11, 2025, at 801 S. Sycamore St. (Professional Learning Center Building), Syracuse, Indiana to hold public hearings. On February 4, 2025, the Board will hold a public hearing to discuss and hear objections and support regarding the proposed (i) renovation of and improvements to Wawasee High School, including the construction of new Student Activity Center, and renovations and improvements to the natatorium; and (ii) renovation of and improvements to facilities in the School Corporation, including deferred maintenance improvements and site improvements, and the purchase of equipment and technology (collectively, the "Projects"). On February 11, 2025, the Board will hold a second public hearing to discuss and hear objections and support regarding the proposed Projects and will also consider the adoption of a resolution making a preliminary determination to enter into a lease agreement relating to the Projects and to issue bonds to finance the Projects. You are invited to attend and participate in the public hearings.

Warsaw Girls Fall For The First Time At Homestead
Two of the top five girls basketball teams in the state met in Fort Wayne Tuesday night, with Warsaw traveling to take on Homestead. The home side led for the entirety of the game, coming up with big moment after big moment each time it looked like the Lady Tigers had an answer. The end result: Warsaw suffering its first loss of the season, 67-55.
