Sandra J. Julian, 84, of North Webster, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025, at Parkview of Kosciusko.
Sandra was born on April 27, 1940, in Fort Wayne, to Ivan and Yvonne Warren Lowman. On Aug. 21, 1962, she married Jackie D. Julian, and they would share 41 years together before his passing in 2003.
She was the first female welder at her work place in Oregon. She worked as an Inspector for Biomet Inc. She was also a special education aide for Washington Elementary School. Sandra attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Warsaw and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in North Webster. She was a part of the Auxiliary in Warsaw and D.A.V Auxiliary, as well as a Relief Society and Sunday school teacher at her church.
She enjoyed reading, cooking and traveling, as well as fishing and just being on the water. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Sandra will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Tonnie Jo Smith, of Fort Wayne; son, Michael Julian, of Rochester; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a brother, Kent Lowman, of Rochester.
She was preceded in passing by both parents, her husband, a son, William Julian; a brother, Bill Lowman; and a sister, Lavonne Finney.
Funeral services in celebration of Sandra’s life will begin at noon on Jan. 6 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, with Bishop Jeff Walters officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw. Visitation from 10 a.m. to noon on Jan. 6 in the funeral chapel.
