NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS OF THE
CITY OF WARSAW REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
Notice is hereby given by the undersigned that the City of Warsaw Redevelopment Commission (the “Redevelopment Commission”) will, at its meetings to be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. local time, and Monday, March 3, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. local time, each in the Council Chambers of City Hall, which is located at 102 South Buffalo Street, Warsaw, Indiana, conduct separate public hearings regarding a preliminary determination to enter into a lease between the City of Warsaw Redevelopment Authority (the “Authority”), as lessor, and the Redevelopment Commission, as lessee (the “Lease”) in connection with the financing of all or a portion of the costs of certain local public improvements consisting of the design, acquisition, construction, installation and equipping of a new building and related facilities for use by the Street Department of the City of Warsaw, Indiana (the “City”) (collectively, the “Project”). The Lease will also finance all or a portion of the expenses incurred in connection with or on account of the issuance of one or more series of bonds by the Authority. The Redevelopment Commission’s lease payments under such Lease will be payable from a special tax levied and collected by the Redevelopment Commission on all taxable property within the City of Warsaw Redevelopment District, the boundaries of which are coterminous with the boundaries of the City, pursuant to IC 36-7-14-27. At each of the public hearings, the Redevelopment Commission will make certain information available to the public regarding the proposed lease and the Project as required by law and will allow members of the public to testify regarding the preliminary determination to enter into the Lease to finance the Project. Following such public hearings, the Redevelopment Commission may consider the adoption of a resolution making a preliminary determination to enter into the Lease to finance the Project.
