Frank Scalet, of Warsaw, passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025, at the age of 76.
He was born on Feb. 13, 1948, in San Diego, Calif., to Mildred Nanfito and Richard Frank Scalet. Frank graduated from Charleston High School in Charleston, Ill., in 1966 and attended Eastern Illinois University, earning his bachelor’s degree in 1971. He served in the Army Reserves in the Illinois National Guard for seven years. Frank later earned his Master’s degree in 1983 from Indiana University. After graduation he began working for R.R.
