ROCHESTER – Wheels On Fire – Cancer Crusaders will hold its 10th annual Clays For Cancer on April 26 beginning at 10 a.m. and continuing as long as there are shooters at the Fulton County Gun Club, 3916 N. Meridian Road, Rochester.
The kitchen will be open with full dinner menu including famous Fulton County Gun Club “Road Kill Chili.” All kitchen receipts (not just profit) go to the cancer fund.
Proceeds are going to the Beaver Dam Community Church’s Wheels on Fire-Cancer Crusaders, who help cancer patients in several counties, including Fulton and Kosciusko.
Clays for Cancer consists of several activities. People may target practice, with 10 targets at a cost of $3.50 or 25 targets for $7.
They may also participate in various games for $7 or try the 25-target competitive event for $10. Both of the latter activities will offer awards. The deadline for entering the competitive event is 3 p.m. that day.
There will also be a silent auction, with shells and shooting and outdoor equipment. Food will be available for purchase, including the gun club’s Road Kill Chili.
People may help by donating a new, unused item for the silent auction by contacting the gun club at 574-223-2072 or emailing [email protected].
