Auditions Announced For Wagon Wheel Professional Theatre’s ‘Steel Magnolias’

Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts announced local auditions for their upcoming production of “Steel Magnolias,” directed by Brianna Borger.
They are seeking talented local actors to fill the roles of Clairee and Ouiser.
Auditions are at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 27 at Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts, 2515 E. Center St., Warsaw. Pay is $300 per week.
No housing is provided. Actors must provide their own housing and be within driving distance for this contract.
No preparation is necessary for the audition. Sides will be provided for cold readings.
Actors are asked to bring a resume (if available) and a recent headshot/photo.
Clairee, between 50 to over 60 years old, is elegant, witty and warm-hearted. She is the former mayor’s wife who finds joy in her friendships and a love for good humor.
Ouiser, between 50 to over 60 years old, is outspoken, eccentric and lovable in her own rough-edged way. Ouiser is a force to be reckoned with but ultimately has a heart of gold.
Rehearsals are July 4-13; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays; 1 to 9 p.m. Sundays.
Mandatory tech rehearsals are July 14–16, with times to be determined.
