Stephen Barker passed away on March 30, 2025, in Zion, Ill., at the age of 77.
He was born on Sept. 3, 1947, in Twin Falls, Idaho. Stephen dedicated much of his life to his career as general manager at ISEC Construction.
Stephen is survived by his two beloved children, Tony Barker and Stephanie Ducheteau. He was a doting grandfather to his grandchildren, Theresa Phillips and Josephine Ducheteau; and a proud great-grandfather to two great-grandchildren. He is also remembered fondly by his sister. Stephen was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Judy Barker; father, Frank Barker; mother, Audrey Kluth and his brother, Rick Barker.
As we remember Stephen Barker, we celebrate a life well-lived, filled with achievements, devotion to family and a spirit of kindness that touched everyone he met. His legacy will continue through the lives he influenced and the love he shared with his family.
Arrangements are under the direction of Congdon Funeral Home, Zion, Ill.
