Oakwood Cemetery Fall Cleanup

September 19, 2024 at 5:37 p.m.

With the leaves beginning to change into fall hues, Oakwood Cemetery is anticipating that leaf pickup will begin soon. Oakwood staff ask that all loose decorations (light weight, non-adhered items set on foundations and monument bases) be removed as soon as possible. Any faded or tattered decorations should be removed as well.
Winter/Christmas decorations may be placed after Nov. 15. Do not place wreaths or grave blankets on graves until after leaf season is over, which depends on Mother Nature and not a specific calendar date.
