Beverly D. Van Westen, 73, Warsaw, died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2024, at Warsaw Meadows Care Center.
She was born Dec. 11, 1950, in East Chicago, to Lorraine A. Gnass and Charles Quinton Smith. She married Michael “Mike” E. Van Westen on Nov. 20, 1976.
Friends and family may visit from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5 at Clear Lake Lutheran Church, Fremont. There will also be a time for visiting an hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. Beverly’s life will be celebrated with a service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6 at Clear Lake Lutheran Church, Fremont, and officiated by Rev. Jeff Corder. A graveside service will follow at Circle Hill Cemetery in Angola. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw.
Memorial donations may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Indiana Chapter, 50 E. 91st St., Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
