Beacon Credit Union Donates $12,000 To Junior Achievement Of Northern Indiana

Beacon Credit Union announced its recent donation of $12,000 to Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana, an organization dedicated to equipping young people with essential skills in financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship.
This contribution is part of Beacon's ongoing commitment to empowering the next generation with the tools they need to face today’s business challenges, according to a news release from Beacon.
In addition to the financial contribution, Beacon Credit Union employees actively participated in Junior Achievement’s programs, volunteering their time and expertise that spanned across classrooms throughout Northeast Indiana. This hands-on involvement provided students with valuable insights into personal finance, the global marketplace and practical skills that are crucial for their future careers, the release states.
Dawn Aschleman, chief operations officer at Beacon Credit Union, emphasized the importance of this partnership, stating, “We are proud to support Junior Achievement in providing students an opportunity to learn needed personal finance skills that will benefit them well into the future. By investing in the education of today’s youth, we are helping build stronger communities for tomorrow.”
