October 28, 2024 at 5:33 p.m.
Fall leaf pick-up in the corporate city limits of Warsaw will begin on Monday, Nov. 4.
Large piles of leaves should be raked to the curb or alley by 7 a.m. and will be picked up on residents’ regular trash day. Do not put sticks or trash in the leaf piles. Small piles will need to be bagged or boxed and will be picked up on residents’ regular trash day.
As a reminder, burning leaves is not permitted. Leaves cannot be raked into the streets and gutter lines as this clogs the stormwater catch basins and creates drainage issues that can lead to flooding.
Weather permitting, the final week for leaf pickup will be the first week in December.
