Local Veterans Honored At Threads Of Valor Ceremony On Nov. 12

October 23, 2024 at 8:30 p.m.


Liberty Sewing Circle is to show appreciation for nominated local veterans.
A Threads of Valor quilt presentation will be Nov. 12 at the Senior Activity Center/Pete Thorn Gym, 800 N. Park Ave., Warsaw.
Doors will open at 10 a.m. and activities will begin at 10:30 a.m. with patriotic singing. Posting of the flag will be given by The American Legion Post 49 Honor Guard. Guest speakers will follow. Handcrafted quilts will be presented to each veteran nominee by members of Liberty Sewing Circle followed by a meal.
Due to limited seating, RSVP with the number in your party prior to Nov. 6 by calling Marsha Huffman at 574-268-4507 or Teri Jo at KCSS 574-267-2012.
Also, if you would like to nominate a veteran residing in Kosciusko County, contact Huffman.

Recently, the Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club donated $500 to the Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce to support Spooktacular, which will be held in downtown Warsaw from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25.
