Lake Water-Quality Workshop Set

The Marshall County Soil and Water Conservations District through an IDEM 319 grant is sponsoring a free Lake Water-Quality Workshop on Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 6 to 7 p.m.
The location is the Bremen Conservation Club on Lake of the Woods at 8745 North Shore Drive, Bremen.
Guest speaker is Adam Thada, president of the Lake Maxinkuckee Environmental Fund (LMEF). Thada will be speaking on watersheds, water quality and what local citizens can do to help improve the water quality of the lake where they live or recreate. Thada will discuss LMEFs volunteer-based water monitoring program.
