Charlie “Buddy” Farmer Jr., 73, Silver Lake, died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024, at home.
Charlie was born April 3, 1951, in Mavisdale, Va., to Charles Sr. and Margaret Meadows Farmer. On Oct. 21, 1976, he married Janette Middleton.
Charlie served in the U.S Marine during the Vietnam Conflict.
A visitation with family and friends will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, Warsaw. Funeral services in celebration of Charlie’s life will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 24 in the funeral chapel with Rev. Robert Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery with military honors.
The family kindly request the memorial donations be made to McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel to assist the family with funeral expenses.
