Echoes Of The Past Holds Fall Festival
October 14, 2024 at 5:30 p.m.
The weekend of Oct. 11 and 12, the Echoes of the Past hosted their annual Fall Festival event at 6840 S. County Farm Road, Claypool.
The free community event drew large crowds on both days, both children and adults, flocking to the site to enjoy the events managed by the club members of the antique tractor club, according to a news release from Echoes. Kids of all ages were treated to the tractor driving experience, the barrel train ride, and an assortment of fall games. Kids could also decorate a pumpkin to take home while supplies lasted. A haunted hayride back through the woods, staffed by members of the Warsaw FFA, ready to do their best “haunting,” was also available to attendees to enjoy. Free pumpkins were available.
Cookies and cider were provided by the club for the crowd to grab if they chose.
Wheels on Fire provided a full menu of items for those looking for something a little more substantial. All proceeds from the food sales go to help local cancer patients.
The Echoes of the Past will continue their focus on the community with their annual Cram the Tram Toys for Tots Drive. If you are interested in donating a new, wrapped toy to help a child in need this Christmas, contact Chris Morehouse at 574-371-7080. Location drop boxes will be made public soon.
