The following people were arrested and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
• 12:22 p.m. Tuesday - Liberty June Slusher, 21 of 1746 S. Main Lane, Pierceton, arrested for theft. Bond: $600.
• 3:10 p.m. Tuesday - Aaron John Hoffman, 40, of 7208 S. CR 400W, Claypool, arrested for theft. Bond: $600.
• 1:44 a.m. Wednesday - James W. Egenlauf, 32, Bremen, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, leaving the scene of a property damage crash, refusal to submit to a chemical test, possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish and refusal to identify self while stopped. No bond listed.
• 10:49 a.m. Wednesday - David Lee Lowe, 37, Rochester, arrested on two charges of felony failure to appear. No bond set.
• 11:01 a.m. Wednesday - Justo Ramirez Perez, 27, of 201 E. Greenahaus Drive, #33, Syracuse, arrested for domestic battery. Bond: $6,000.

• 7:53 p.m. Tuesday - Intersection of South Ind. 19 and East Ind. 10, Etna Green. Car went into ditch. Driver: Alan M. Pfeiffer, 24, Rochester. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.

Incidents
• 11:27 p.m. Tuesday - A person was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and leaving the scene of a property damage crash in the 2200 block of North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
• 6:04 a.m. Wednesday - An emergency detention order was requested in the 1200 block of Lake City Highway, Warsaw. WPD.

Warsaw Girls Fall For The First Time At Homestead
Two of the top five girls basketball teams in the state met in Fort Wayne Tuesday night, with Warsaw traveling to take on Homestead. The home side led for the entirety of the game, coming up with big moment after big moment each time it looked like the Lady Tigers had an answer. The end result: Warsaw suffering its first loss of the season, 67-55.

Bowl For Kids’ Sake Is Back For 2025
FORT WAYNE – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana will host its annual Bowl For Kids’ Sake fundraiser in Kosciusko County on March 1 at The Bowling Alley.
