LaunchPad Seeking Info On Childcare Services For Families Who Work 2nd Or 3rd Shift

November 18, 2024 at 9:19 p.m.

Since 2018, LaunchPad has been working to eliminate barriers for working families in Kosciusko County.
LaunchPad is currently seeking information about childcare services needed for families who work second or third shift.
Currently, LaunchPad has three surveys available in order to gather information about the demand for off-shift care, and identify a location and/or care partner if a need is identified.
The surveys available are 1.) Family Survey for those working second or third shift; 2.) Employer survey for businesses or companies that have a second or third shift. 3.) Childcare Provider Survey for those who provide care for children for any shift.
All three surveys are available at https://klaunchpad.com/community-survey/. Click the survey link at the top of the page.
Sherry Searles, director of LaunchPad, said, “We invite our community to provide their unique perspective into this issue so we can use that information to determine the demand and if needed, identify a solution.”
