WCHS Set To Tumble Into Hilarity With ‘The Play That Goes Wrong’

Get ready for a night of laughter as the Warsaw Community High School Theatre Department presents the comedy “The Play That Goes Wrong” from Friday to Sunday at the Warsaw Performing Arts Center.
As part of this story, the Cornley Drama Society attempts to stage their latest production, “The Murder at Haversham Manor,” on opening night. The evening quickly spirals into chaos with an unconscious leading lady, a corpse that refuses to stay still, and actors who can’t seem to remember their lines or where they’re supposed to be, according to a provided news release. This 1920s whodunit blends elements of Monty Python and Sherlock Holmes, the release states.
Days and times for the play are Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 2 and 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. The opening cast will perform Friday and Saturday and the closing cast will perform Sunday.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. Tickets purchased via debit or credit card may incur additional processing fees
The run time for the show is 90 minutes, including a 15-minute intermission. Recommended for ages 10 and up, this PG-rated performance features mild violence, the use of prop weapons and some adult humor.
