City Notified Of Railroad Crossings

The city of Warsaw has been notified that several east/west railroad crossings will be closed this weekend into next week to allow for crossing upgrades. These upgrades will include replacing ties, replacing rail and repaving the crossings.
Crossings at Scott Street, Washington Street, South Lake Street and Zimmer Road will occur within the Warsaw area. Further west, crossings at County Road 100 North, County Road 525 West, Prairie Street (Atwood) and County Road 800 West will also be closed and upgraded.
Closures will begin on Saturday, Nov. 2. Crews hope to reopen the crossings by later the following week, weather permitting.
Residents are encouraged to plan additional travel time and seek alternate routes due to these closures.
