Three Vying For The Title Of Miss Mentone 2024

MENTONE - Three young women will be vying for the title of Miss Mentone during the Egg Festival this year.
Jayden Yarian is the daughter of Wes and Shelly Yarian.

She will be a freshman at Tippecanoe Valley High School in August. She is a junior varsity cheerleader, participates in FFA and 4-H with the Henry Hardy Farmers in Fulton County and also is involved with the Miss Fulton County pageant.
Jayden wanted to run in memory of her grandpa, Rex Yarian, and her grandma, Patsy Owens-Sparks. She feels like this is a great way to honor their memory and represent the community that her grandpa was a part of, according to information provided.

Olivia Fuller is the daughter of Tara and Chad Fuller.
She will be a freshman at Tippecanoe Valley High School in August. She loves basketball and softball and looks forward to being a part of the TVHS team. A six-year 4-H member, she enjoys her general projects, as well as showing her goats and pigs, according to information provided.
Olivia is running for Miss Mentone because she loves her community and wants to be an influence in it and a role model to others.
Finally, Jetta Hughes is the daughter of Storm and Dustin Severns.
She will be a senior at TVHS in August. She participates in Kosciusko Youth Leadership Academy, National Honor Society, student council, BC2M, Voice, Warsaw Community Church youth group, soccer, unified bowling and unified flag football.

Jetta wants to run for Miss Mentone because she demonstrates good leadership and communication skills, according to information provided. She is around the community a lot as she has worked in the community and volunteered her time. She also has gained many friendships by being involved in the community.
Additionally, she does photography and said, “Nothing means more to me than seeing people smile!”
