Redmond Named Vice President And General Manager For Ironwood Plastics

MILFORD — Joe Redmond has been named vice president and general manager for Ironwood Plastics, according to Marc Plastow, vice president and chief financial officer for CTB Inc.
In his new position, Redmond will research, develop, lead and execute divisional strategies to drive short and long-term organizational goals for profitable business growth and global brand value. Ironwood Plastics has facilities in Ironwood, Mich. and Two Rivers, Wis.
Redmond joins CTB with 30 years of experience in a variety of human resources, supervisory, directorial and managerial roles at several companies throughout Michigan, Ohio and Massachusetts. Most recently, he held the position of division manager for a nationwide tool company where he was involved in direct sales and service as well as oversaw plant operations. Redmond is a United States Army veteran. He served as a Pershing Missile crew member.
He is a graduate of Michigan State University, East Lansing, Mich., where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in social science – human resources multidisciplinary program. Redmond also earned a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate from Bowling Green State University, Huron, Ohio.
A native of southeast Michigan, Redmond resides in Troy, Mich., but plans to relocate to the Ironwood, Mich., area.
