Whether you’re planning a camping trip, need supplies for the farm, looking for some new clothes or just need some home décor, you’ll probably find it at Runnings, 3660 Commerce Drive, Warsaw.
Friday, as part of Runnings’ three-day grand opening celebration, they had a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce.
Leroy Wiegand, store manager, said Runnings is a farm, home and sporting goods store.

“We’ve been doing this for 75 years as a company. Dennis and Adele Reed are the owners and Brian Odegaard is our president,” he said. “It’s been a company for a long time, and we’re updating stores now with the addition of these (22) stores they put into the mix when they bought the old company (R.P. Home & Harvest).”
He said they offer a “great variety” of products in sporting goods, farm supplies, foods and assorted items.
“We’re just here to be a part of the community. We want to really get ourselves endeared into the community, do what we can do to help Warsaw out, and to be a store that’s here for the community with all the things we can offer,” Wiegand said.
The three-day opening weekend started Thursday.
“We’ve been running for a while, but we wanted to get the stores converted over because we did a lot of remodeling. We’ve reset the whole store. We’ve obviously got new merchandise in, different vendors, things like that. We had to reset the whole store, and once we got that done, now we’re ready to go and ready to get our customers in here and make sure to take care of them,” he stated.

Runnings is based in Minnesota, but stores can be found in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, New York, South Dakota, Iowa and more.
“It’s a continously growing company. It’s been seeing a lot of growth over the last few years, so we’re really starting to grow,” Wiegand said.
He said Warsaw has always been a great market for Runnings to be located in.
“It’s just a great market. There’s always been a great business here for the farm customer and the sporting goods customer, so it’s just a great community. A lot of things going on. It’s just been a great community for us. They’ve always supported the farm store, and, obviously, since we’ve remodeled, we’ve really seen the support from them. It’s a big decent-sized town with great customers and a lot of things going on that’s great for the community,” he continued.
Store hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
“We’re just happy to be here and we’re happy to be a part of the Warsaw community,” he concluded.
