Dan and Miriam Ashman Pacheco, Winona Lake, marked their 60th wedding anniversary June 4.
They were married June 4, 1964, at Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, officiated by Dr. Charles Ashman Sr., Rev. Robert Ashman and Rev. Charles Ashman Jr.
Dan is a retired teacher. Miriam is a homemaker and former teacher.
They have three children: Dan (Marna) Pacheco Jr., Winona Lake; Maria (John) Tucker, Warsaw; and David (Esther) Pacheco, Delaware, Ohio; and seven grandchildren.
They will celebrate with a family dinner on June 23.

Two of the top five girls basketball teams in the state met in Fort Wayne Tuesday night, with Warsaw traveling to take on Homestead. The home side led for the entirety of the game, coming up with big moment after big moment each time it looked like the Lady Tigers had an answer.
