Bowen Health Clinic Operations Affected By Cyber Outage

Bowen Health Clinics are experiencing intermittent issues related to the global outage caused by the CrowdStrike update.
Access to their patient electronic records and other crucial systems, including their phones and computers, were affected. As a result, all medical appointments were canceled for the day, as providers were unable to access patient information. Therapy appointment schedules and their community-based services were unaffected, according to a news release from Bowen Center.
As of 2 p.m. Friday, some access has been restored, but they were not fully operational. Bowen Center is fortunate to have IT professionals who have been working diligently to return Bowen Center to full capacity, a dedicated staff who are able to adapt to changes in order to ensure patients’ needs are met, and patients who have been understanding and kind during this inconvenience, the release states.
