Lake City Bank welcomed its summer 2024 intern class, made up of 17 students from local high schools and universities in Indiana, Kentucky and Wisconsin.
This year’s intern class includes three students returning for another summer at Lake City Bank. Interns work in areas around the bank to gain real-world experience and explore careers in financial services.
The student interns are:
• Giselle Pablo, compliance and security intern, is a sophomore at Purdue University majoring in accounting with a minor in Spanish for the professions.
• Andy Deng, credit and commercial banking intern, is a sophomore at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business majoring in finance and accounting.
• Ryan DePew, retail banker intern, is a senior at Indiana University Indianapolis’s Kelley School of Business majoring in business management and real estate.
• Ashley Deputy, loan review intern, is a junior at Indiana University Bloomington majoring in finance and business analytics.
• Guinevere "Guinny" Garr, commercial administration intern, is a senior at Kentucky Wesleyan College majoring in accounting and minoring in economics.
• Lily Waters, retail banker intern, is a freshman at Purdue University Fort Wayne majoring in accounting. She is returning for her second summer at Lake City Bank.
• Julian Medina, electronic banking intern, is a senior at Ball State University majoring in marketing.
• Emily Goon, internal audit intern, is a junior at Purdue University majoring in agribusiness with a concentration in agri-finance and minoring in real estate and farm management.
• Corbin Brubaker, information security intern, is a senior at Indiana University majoring in information systems with a co-major in business analytics.
• Molly Winkeljohn, wealth advisory group intern, is a junior at Indiana University studying informatics with a concentration in business at the Luddy School of Informatics. She also has a minor in marketing through the Kelley School of Business.
• Ross Hutton, finance intern, is a senior at Ball State University majoring in finance and economics.
• Driedyn Hernandez, financial analyst intern, is a junior at Carthage College majoring in finance, management and marketing.
• Dylan Neese, PC technician intern, is a sophomore at Huntington University majoring in computer science and minoring in cyber security management.
• Alex Gass, credit and commercial banking intern, is a senior at Huntington University with a double major in economics and finance and management, with a minor in marketing.
• Lily Ault, retail banker intern, is a sophomore at Ball State University majoring in finance and business. She is returning for her second summer at Lake City Bank.
• Shawn Hochstetler, retail banker intern, is a senior at Northridge High School. He plans to pursue a degree in business or finance after graduation.
• Caitlyn Patrick, float retail banker intern, is a sophomore at Indiana University Bloomington majoring in management and minoring in small business entrepreneurship. She is returning for her second summer at Lake City Bank.

For the second straight season, the Warsaw boys soccer team’s regional semifinal match would not be determined in regular or extra time, instead needing penalty kicks to decide a winner.
